Meet the team

I joined Connection Capital in 2022 to further build out our co-investment capability. Leveraging the expertise and insight from both our Directs team and the Funds team, we provide clients with access to opportunities that combine the best of both investment approaches. We in the Co-investment team are cherry pickers, selecting strong individual deals from underlying managers’ wider portfolios in order to improve risk-adjusted returns and provide differentiated exposures to our clients' portfolios.

My career so far has always concentrated on investment management, albeit across myriad asset classes and employing a range of investment strategies. After graduating from Durham University with an Economics degree, I joined Legal & General’s asset management division, specialising in managing strategic asset allocation and objective-driven funds for a range of client types. I then moved across to their Private Assets division, where I found my home in the wonderful world of Alternatives, covering Private Equity (both buyout and venture capital), Private Debt, Housing, Infrastructure and a lot more besides. 

Outside of work, my remaining time is largely spent being a Dad to my two, beautiful daughters. I also like to watch rugby (Saracens) and football (West Ham), go skiing, walk the dog and spend time with friends. Latterly, as a direct consequence of Lockdown, I’ve also become an obsessive BBQ-er. Any excuse. Whatever the weather.
